What is your vision for the B&GC of Trenton Mercer County?
As President of the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton/Mercer County, I want to move the capital city Club forward to make it the premiere youth organization in the state. We are in the process of building the Board of Directors with strong community leaders and building up the finances of the club to place it on a firm financial footing. We are also in the process of implementing a long range plan to identify more clearly the community?s needs and the resources available to the club. In all this, we are striving to be innovative in our thinking as we develop new programs and services for our members. And most of all, having an impact and changing lives of the young people we serve.
What other B&GC involvement have you had?
I am currently working with the Area Council on various initiatives including the Concert For Kids and the establishment of a literacy initiative. |
