Bill Rush

Bill Rush

When the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson asks for volunteers, Bill Rush steps right up.  And it's been that way for the entire 7 years that he has served in Paterson.  During his tenure as a Board Member, Bill was the principal architect of the Five Thousand and Five capital campaign and strategic plan. He also serves as the Clubs liaison to the Area Council. In that role, Bill has served in leadership positions on the Marketing Committee and was instrumental in the development of the agreement with Coca-Cola.

He continues to become increasingly active in Area Council activities participating on the Golf Committee and serving as a key committee member of the Concert For Kids event. Bill is a retired Prudential Financial Executive. His prior experience included a position as Partner at Coopers & Lybrand Management Consulting as well as Booz-Allen & Hamilton Management Consulting. His other current affiliations include the Skidmore College Business Advisory Council and he holds the position of Officer at the Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary Club.

Peter Maher, Chairman of the NJ Area Council remarks Bill Rush is a Board Member for whom I have great admiration. He has always been one of the first to volunteer his time and energy and brings to the table the value of many years of experience as a senior corporate executive. I believe that both the Paterson Boys & Girls Club and the NJ Area Council greatly benefit from his enthusiastic participation. Bill and his wife Carol reside in Wyckoff and have two daughters. They are also active in their church and other community activities. Bill, thanks for all you do for our youth and our Clubs!
