Jenn Kramer

For the past two years, Jenn Kramer has been a member of the NJ Boys & Girls Club's Marketing Advisory Board, a group of marketing professionals who strive to raise visibility for the Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey. “There's such an energy in the Clubs and amongst the people who run them. You can't help but get caught up in it," Jenn said. "It really is a positive place for kids.” Kramer has been PSE&G’s spokesperson for four years with goals of raising PSEG's profile on the national stage, and helping to position the company as a “thought leader” in areas such as the environment and workforce development.

She also works to promote PSE&G’s support for non-profit organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs, and other organizations that focus on improving life in communities where PSE&G’s customers and employees reside and work. "I'm proud to be part of such a worthwhile organization - one that is teaching kids to believe in themselves and their dreams. Helping this group is my pleasure." Last spring Kramer helped to organize Boys & Girls Clubs’s Forum on Afterschool Programs sponsored by PSE&G and Comcast. Bringing public and private sector leaders together for a frank discussion on the value of after school programming, the Forum was well-attended and hailed as a success by all parties involved, including parents, educators, after school enthusiasts, non-profit, elected and business leaders, and representatives from the Department of Education and NJ Department of Children and Families. She and the committee are currently working on the second forum on Crime Prevention currently being planned for December. As a result of the time she has spent working on various projects Jenn has earned $250 for BGCNJ through PSEG's Dollars for Doers program.

Kramer has a business degree from Montclair State University, and sits on the Executive Board of the school's Alumni Association. She began her career in Democratic politics, working first on Bill Bradley's presidential campaign and thereafter as a spokesperson for U.S. Senator Tom Carper (D-DE), who is a former Congressman and Governor. Kramer has also served as Assistant Communications Director in the Office of the Governor in New Jersey for Jim McGreevy and currently resides in Hoboken with her husband Kevin Kramer. We thank Jennifer Kramer for her time and commitment to Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey.
